I am going to export the database to flat files, being, each story will be a .txt or .rtf file and zip them all and post a link so you can have offline access to them. Also, Alternatively, you will be able to download the viewer and the whole database itself and run it locally though a runtime =), update your local story archive with files / stories from most major archiving systems. Anyhow, Thats the news, oh and i'm aware of the email server problem and it is being worked on.

Well, things are less then spectacular, without a backup of the database before the crash things had to be recreated from 'Whispers 4.0' which was to be a totally different archive system. So while things have been back-ported, we have lost many items at the same time. Working to get it all up again, Not sure however which stories were from where and what the status was.

Also, information from 'The Index' is to be merged into the main site soon. During the merge, all broken links, (notably those pointing to the now defunct hex archive url), will be corrected.
